*Randomness can be a beautiful thing*

The new year always brings a new sense for hope for me. I don't really make New Years Resolutions although my Grandfather says I do...everyday. But my wonderful husband did get me the gym membership I asked for and I have been going. I haven't ran in months and managed to pull off 1 mile in 12 minutes...I know that really isn't good, but I'll take it. I refuse to beat myself up over time. It just feels good to exercise.
My wonderful mentor suggested an indepth Bible study to me...Believing God by Beth Moore...I can't even begin to tell you how estatic I am over this study. Its sooo easy for me to get up at 5:30-6 am and do it....six days a week. I can't really go into all the details of how this book is assisting God in doing a new work in me, but its awesome and its working. I highly recommend this study! More to come in the future.
My heart is also a bit heavy with the New Year...there seems to be people all around me struggling with the battle of cancer. Its soo ugly and evil.
My children are growing so incredibly FAST. I cherish their laughter...they are precious gifts straight from the Lord...and only "mine" for a short time. May the good Lord provide Brett and I with enough wisdom to train them in the way they should go.
Zahavah's laugh is too cute for words. She says few things that others can understand and a lot that only we can understand. She does not enjoy the happy chair that she visits daily for biting and hitting her brother. She just isn't afraid to go after what she wants...especially when Eli has it!
Micayla will be driving in two years...I'm scared! She is maturing too fast for me...I miss that little curly headed grade schooler. She is soo pretty!
Eli LOVES singing with Brett...and I LOVE listening to the both of them. He is also a rad dancer at church and I think others get a "kick" out of watching his sweet moves. Not sure where he learns them from...its none of us here...its gotta be his own creativity!
I got to enjoy a pleasant date (with NO CHILDREN )to Biaggi's this past week with Brett and a movie! What a TERRIFIC treat! Biaggi's has divine chocolate truffles...I suggest everyone try them! And we watched "Blind Side"...by far, my new favorite movie...its a MUST SEE...and probably Sandra Bullock's best performance ever! Go see it!
Brett and I have several exciting things happening in our life. We are attending our second adoption meeting this month! Enough said...more to come in the future. We paid off our van in Dec, and only have one more debt left...which keeps us from exciting things happening sooner than later...but we are ok with that. God is doing wonderful works in us and we are trusting Him with our lives!!!
God Bless and have a terrific 2010!
