Lord...Please help me be patient today w/ my little two year old who doesn't understand his Sister's desire to play with him and his cars! Pictures were actually taken back in Feb...but not much has changed! Wow...Snapfish is giving me 30 prints for free since its been one year since I have placed an order with them! And for the record...Shutterfly has excellent customer service...well I will confirm that when they fulfill their word. :)

The twins are her biological father's babies. They have grown a lot!!! Micayla asked me to do a small little photo shoot w/ them so she could put something together for her Dad. We got a lot but I decided to post w/ favorites w/ Micayla in them!

Lemon Delights!

I don't know about you...but I enjoy the color and smell of lemons. And I like having them in my kitchen. I like a good lemonade shake up when we go to festivals as well...although the sugar is usually overbearing. As I was sitting in the Chiropractors office this morning flipping through a Country Living magazine...I fell upon this recipe...

2 C fresh lemon juice

6 C cold water

1 C of fine sugar

2 Tbsp of grape juice (for color)

lemon slices

rinsed marigold petals for decoration

I cut this recipe in 1/2 because I only had three lemons and that got me about 3/4 C of juice. I used regular sugar, no grape juice or marigolds in mine nonetheless this was FANTASTIC! My kids are enjoying it now as I type. I usually struggle w/ getting the "right" proportions...this made it easy...try it!!!

Yummy!

My friend Megan gave me some asparagus today! (We had a nice play date this morning...which was fun, hopefully I'll post some pics soon). I had to go to www.allrecipes.com to figure out the best way to prepare it for my family! And while I was there...like always...I fell upon a few more recipes I would like to make. So now I'm in the cooking mood, but I really want to scrapbook while my kids are napping. (Since all the laundry is caught up!) I'll cook w/ the kids later! Bring out the paper, glue, stickers, ribbon and the pics...here I come! I'll share recipes with you all later! Happy Thursday!
