A morning of golf with my hubby!

(Pic below...see the ball in the air!)

I cannot stress enough how important it is for married couple to get away from "it all." I really want my husband to feel valued as the love of my life, and leader of our family...so I thought I would surprise him Saturday morning with a round of golf at the Oakland golf course. Initially I thought I would attempt to play with him...but he said, "Micah your too pregnant to play." I said, "Ok...I'll watch and drive the cart!" I think I hit a ball one time. We also saw a Great Blue Heron. (Those close to us, know all about Herons) We had fun. It was my first time (we have been married for three years) that I have experienced this side of Brett....his pro-golf side! I enjoy your company Brett.

Hair cuts and beautiful flowers for Mommy!

This past weekend we experienced not one hair cut but 2! And as of yesterday...I started to pack my hospital bag! Hope you enjoy these great pics...again they are backwards! So these first couple of pics are from his second hair cut.
The first big cut around the ear!
He looks soooo serious! lol.

Eli sees the spray bottle...you will understand when you see the pics below!

Here he is with his final hair cut and the flowers he and Daddy picked for Mommy. Its one of those things I have a really hard time explaining...but it touches me deeply when I see Brett helping Eli pick flowers for me, and Eli runs across the yard to give them to me. I am so proud of my husband for many things, but especially for showing our son how to love and be sensitive.

lol...this is the final pic from his first hair cut!

Awwww....snip, snip, snip!

This is one of the very first pics...Eli likes the bottle Paula is using to wet his hair down...so he gets lots of little drinks all through his hair cut...remember the pic above when he eyeballs the spray bottle at the second hair cut...lol...no drinks were offered there!

He is such a super champ getting his hair cut!

He loves laughing at Daddy...who is actually camcordering this event...I think Eli is seeing himself on the camera.

All done! Eli is combing his new hair. The next day Brett and I thought he looked too much like a girl, so we took him to a local salon and got a big boy hair cut. We were both really sad to see it go, but he looks so grown up and handsome with his big boy hair cut. Glad we are having another baby soon!!!!!

ITS A PAINTING DAY!!!! Well...Morning anyway!

Eli helps w/ laundry!

"See Mom, I can get in all by myself!"

A climber! He takes after his Daddy...I'm sure of it!

Eli's first time eating Corn on the Cob!!! This time...he did not get any off of the cob...but last night...he managed to bite some off. I was impressed!

Darn...these painting pics are not in order. Oh well!

He almost ate some paint!
This face is funny, I snapped the pic when he was talking I guess!
This is pic, is actually pic #1...opps the brush landed in his hair!
A visit with Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Adam...Eli was not a happy camper this morning!

He paints his hands...so much fun!! And then he says..."uck!" Too cute!
See...what a beautiful hand!
I really like this pic...it looks like battle scars, but its actually a really nice face painting!!!
He dips his fingers!
And he is proclaiming he is ALL DONE painting, I missed the shot of him using sign language to let me know...but as you can tell here...his facial expression is enough!

You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. Psalms 139:13

Being pregnant is an amazing experience! Giving birth is such a miracle. I thank God everyday that my children are healthy. The Lord has blessed us beyond what we could ever imagine.

Happy Birthday America! Pics are not in order, sorry!

Eli enjoys Sparklers...this is so scary for me b/c he tries to grab the end! I'm such a concerned Mommy!
Agh...look how close he gets it to his eyes!

I hold it much farther away and he is not so happy with me!

Yeah! The fireworks at the airport are so much fun! Eli is sooo good sitting on Daddy's lap watching them!

We like the fireworks.

Daddy..."Where is the candy?" Eli caught on quick how to pick up the candy. A couple of times he even threw it back to them!

THE BOYS!

Daddy helps Eli with his Sparkler!

Eli explores Sparklers!

A proud little American.
He wanted his flag in his hat too, like Big Pappy! Monkey see, Monkey do!

Trying to steal Pappy's flag!

Yummy!

The boys were lucky enough to get balls during the parade!

More cupcake mixing!

Go Caydance!!!!

So much candy...the boys are not sure what to do with it!
Which one do you want Daddy?

Eli enjoys candy from the pinata...this may be his first sucker ever?!

They prepare the pans together.
And he watches his big sister!

Eli mixes with Mommy, he is so curious!

Yummy Sprinkles in the cake!

We started our day by preparing cupcakes for Aunt Keri and Uncle Asa's 4th of July party (Thurs).
