Daddy's Guitar and Eli's finger!

Last night after Brett had entertained us w/ some guitar music, Eli decided to play Daddy's big guitar. He was playing away having a grand ol' time, then it was time for bed. Eli and I headed for our rocking chair for a story, and he was quite fussy and kept putting his hand in a fist. So I peeked and WOW...look at his little finger! That mean ol' guitar got the best of his finger....He wants so badly to be like Daddy!

AWAKE since 4:30 am!

Due to the Earthquake! Its not something you experience everyday in Central Illinois, I think the last time I felt an earthquake here I was my daughter's age...11 or 12ish! For those interested..I'll be 30 in June! Oh my! I seriously thought it was a tornado b/c Brett and I both heard it before we felt it. I bolted like lighting to my children. What a yucky feeling. I guess my mamma instincts kicked in, adrenaline pumping...never really went back to sleep. Thank goodness it was not a tornado and all is well. You can read more about it at

WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!

Busy (Being Under Satan's Yoke)...

And its something I hate being, but today is a busy day! I am going to the printers to pick up something for Share International and then Eli and I are going to have coffee with a friend a JACS. Then we are off to Champaign along w/ Brett for an OB appt. We will find out if we are having a girl or a boy TODAY! Then a regular OB checkup. Then I have a client this afternoon and at some point I need to call my little sister. She was admitted to the hospital last night for severe dehydration! Crazy Crazy Cazy! My one prayer is that...at some point in the day God uses me to bless someone else. Have a Happy Day Everyone :)
